Our team consists of professionals with PhD in biological science, patent agents and patent attorneys. They have been engaged with academics and multinational organizations in the area of intellectual property management, competitive prospecting and R&D for decades.
These professionals have experience working in matrix environments where they have led portfolio analysis and enabled decision-making for strategic alliances, merger & acquisitions along with scouting emerging technologies to improve internal competitive advantage.

Team has been performing drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in the area of biological science. Other activities include technology landscape, patent search, patent sequence analysis, freedom to operate, due diligence, developing company portfolio to provide insight about potential threat/opportunity that directs future strategy. Team is also extensively engaged for conducting patent education & training.
Rimjhim Dasgupta
Founder & CEO - PhD in Biochemistry & Patent Agent

30 years of research experience in the area of Biotechnology, IPR/Competitive Prospecting & Bioinformatics and possesses sound knowledge in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Gene Expression, Genomics, patent science and databases.
Her last assignment was with Monsanto as an IP professional for more than a decade managing pipeline and making recommendation for developing IP portfolio, go/no-go decision and internal competitive advantage, technology landscape, patent search, drafting, filing, freedom to operate, due diligence, routine monitoring of competition and alerting management about potential threat/opportunity.
Pranesh Badami
Director Compliance - PhD in Biological Science
A Ph.D with ~25 years experience in Biotech industry in areas of Biodiversity related FTO, Competitive intelligence, IP analysis, Data mining, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance management. His expertise lies in obtaining Regulatory approvals for Biology R&D notably related to the National Biodiversity Authority (NBA), for product development, commercialization, Bioresource procurement, import & export and IP filing to ensure FTO and Compliance. He has contributed to opinion building on existing Policies, Guidelines, Regulations affecting Biology R&D for improving the approval process and thereby increasing compliance

A registered USPTO Patent Agent, bilingual and multi-cultural Biological Scientist with over 30 years experience in plant biotechnology, pharmaceuticals industries and academics & IP management.
He has extensive experience in molecular biology, molecular genetics and bioinformatics. He spent more than a decade in Monsanto drafted and prosecuted multiple patent applications in the areas of agronomic traits, genomics, molecular breeding .
He was also engaged to perform due diligence activity for developing business strategy.

An advocate at the Bombay High Court, she is registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.
She has around 15 years of experience in research and prosecution of IPR. She is a Post graduate in Health Sciences from the University of Pune and also a registered Patent agent. She also practices other IPRs like Trademark, Copyright and Industrial Designs extensively.
She has worked with top tier exclusive IP law firms/Attorneys of India and has been associated with them on important assignments.
